This homeowner came to DBS to save their unstable and sinking cabin. Knowing they wanted to utlilize their cabin for year round festivities, they wanted to have peace of mind that it was in stable condition. One of our Design Specialists, Mike Horvath, visited the home in order to conduct a free, no-obligation estimate to find the best solution. After the homeowner came to an agreement with Mike on a timeframe that worked best for them and DBS, one of our Foreman, Jordan Salmi, was brought on to lead the installation of this project with help from a team. For this job, the piers are driven into the ground using hydraulic pressure. Once the pier reaches solid, stable soil, the pressure pushes against the ground and causes the piers to raise the structure. This allowed stability and true level thoughout the entire of the cabin.
