To address this issue, DBS has proposed a solution that involves encapsulation and the installation of a heat source in the crawlspace. This will ensure a consistent water supply throughout the year, regardless of the season. In addition, the project includes additional crew labor to accommodate tighter spaces and soft sand terrain for potential adjustments. Once the project was done, the homeowner was happy with the results!

This homeowner contacted DBS after seven years of struggling to maintain year-round water access at their cabin. They wanted their cabin to have access to warmer water during the winter months so they could go and stay there. They didn't have an insulated crawlspace, which is where the main water pipe ran through.

During the inspection of the crawlspace, our Design Specialist proposed encapsulating it to provide a warm space for the water pipe, ensuring a consistent water supply throughout the year.

This homeowner in Pequot Lakes had contacted DBS because they wanted to update the home out of the 70s after their father had passed away. However, the home was settling and the homeowner knew this needed to be fixed before moving forward with the updates. Our Design Specialist, Zach Guilliams, went out to the property and provided the homeowner with a free, no-obligation, estimate. Upon inspection, he recommended we install our 3" Push Piers that have a low profile bracket to permanently stabilize the home and then level out the support slab using our foam PolyLevel®. In order to do this, the crew would have to dig a trench to be able to get under the foundation.

Once our crew got out to the property and started the work, they were able to dig the trench and install 4 of the push piers. They then proceeded to do the lift and the gaps were closed using the foam lift. At the end of the project, the house looked nice and the homeowners were happy with the results!

DBS looked into the problem and gave her a solution to repair the wall to its original straight form and maintain a dry basement to enjoy in comfort! We proposed that the basement walls and floors are stabilized, then we waterproof the basement to make sure it stays dry. This requires that we add beams and braces to support the foundation and install multiple, after removing and replacing the concrete in the basement.
