This homeowner in Cumberland, WI wanted the outdoor retaining wall to be fixed. The wall, which was made up of long wood logs, had shifted over time and was not only unstable but also unappealing to the eye. After doing a bit of research, the homeowner reached out to DBS to find a good solution for the problem. Following a short friendly phone call with the office staff, an appointment was made to have System Design Specialist, Scott Rosenlund make a trip out to the home for a free no obligation estimate. At the appointment, Scott was able to explain to the homeowners that the best possible solution would be to install Helical tieback anchors to bring the wall back to its original position. This solution would bring a great look to the landscape while providing the homeowners with a stable wall.

This homeowner was concerned about the cement flooring and foundation of the garage. The slabs had shifted and cracked over time causing the foundation to also shift. After doing a bit of research, the homeowner then reached out to DBS. Following a brief phone call with the office staff, an appointment was set to have System Design Specialist, Royce Bunn make a trip out to the home for a free no obligation estimate. Royce went out to the home and after doing a thorough inspection, explained to the homeowners the best possible solution, while providing them with a written estimate. Royce advised, to safely move the concrete back into place, a Polylevel injection would be the best option. This would then help the foundation that had moved shift back into the correct place. The homeowner would no longer have to worry about the foundation or the cracks in the shifting concrete.

This homeowner had problems with the concrete slab in the driveway and sidewalk around the home. Previously, the homeowner had another contractor lift and level the slab by mudjacking. Over time, the concrete had shifted and the contractor had to make many trips out to the home. After repeatedly having to correct the work on the concrete, the homeowner decided to try someone else. After doing some research, this homeowner reached out to DBS to find a long-term fix for the problem. Henrik was able to explain to Mr. Husby why the slab was repeatedly needing service and offered the best possible solution, along with a written estimate for him. The mud solution injected under the cement during mudjacking would eventually erode away, or settle causing the cement to shift multiple times. However, injecting Polylevel would provide a long-term fix to the problem, since the solution is light and has a denser fill material, as well as being waterproof, it will not react with the soil or moisture like mudjacking does. The installation of Polylevel would give the homeowner a permanent solution so that they would no longer have to worry about an uneven driveway and sidewalk.
