How do Earth Anchors Work?

Wednesday, November 14th, 2018 by Alexa Hilger-Sawochka

Earth Anchors are a form of foundation support and wall stabilization that DBS offers. The process works by putting beams through the dirt and in through the wall, retaining wall, or whatever area you want to stabilize. Our professionals at DBS will work to dig into the ground to the appropriate level and install the anchors in through the area that needs support. Ultimately, the soil and the beam will correct a tilted wall in the foundation or support a retaining wall using the Earth itself to straighten and support. We’ve included some photos of our construction process for installation of Earth Anchors.
