Kelsey has been known to wear multiple hats at DBS, as she has been here since the doors opened in 2012. She knows our company inside and out. When in doubt, ask Kelsey, she will know! This homeowner in Duluth, MN was dissatisfied with her basement which had a few notable problems. Stair-step cracking had found its way along the stone block foundation and water had damaged sections of the basement. Wanting to take care of this problem and prevent it from getting even worse, the homeowner reached out to DBS, the local experts in All Things Basementy™. Office Manager, Kelsey Anderson picked up the call and was happy to help the homeowner out. An appointment was set to have System Design Specialist, Royce Bunn go out to the home for a free inspection and no obligation estimate. At the appointment, the homeowner explained her concerns to Royce. Following a thorough inspection, Royce described the best possible solution to solve her problems. The installation of a PowerBrace™ system would help with the stair-step cracks that had occurred. To prevent any further water problems, an interior waterproofing system along with a SaniDry™ dehumidifier would solve the issue. After coming to a comfortable price agreement, a date was set to have the production crew come out to perform the installation. Throughout the installation, the foreman gave updates to the homeowner on how the job was going, as well as a final walk through once the job was complete. Now finished, the homeowner was able to enjoy her basement, which was now sturdy and free of water problems.
This home in Bigfork, Minnesota was experiencing foundation problems. One side of the home had shifted and settled causing the home to be unsteady. With a short, friendly phone call with Kelsey Anderson, the office manager, an appointment was set to have System Design Specialist, Royce Bunn make a trip out to his home in Blackduck to do a thorough inspection and leave him with a free no obligation estimate. After an introduction, the homeowner took Royce through his garage and showed him the problem he had been noticing. Royce did a thorough inspection and gave the homeowner a detailed description of the best possible solution. The installation of PolyLevel® would lift and level the garage slab that had sunken. Following the in-depth explanation, both Royce and the homeowner came to a comfortable price agreement. Royce called back to the shop that same day to find the best time to have the production crew come out to perform the installation. Less than a week later, a crew came out and installed the PolyLevel®. The garage floor was lifted and the steps once again sat correctly on the cement. After the installation, the homeowner no longer had to worry about the unlevel garage or cracks in the floor.
